In December 2017, Kate, Gerard, and Leila Gurruwiwi travelled to the Mungkarta community in the Northern Territory to collaborate and create a road safety campaign. The project was supported by Barkly Regional Council, and the Northern Territory Government, Department of Transport through their Road Safety Community Grants Program.

KAGE spent a week in residence at Mungkarta Homeland School, generously assisted by leading teacher Melanie Baldwin, School Principal Chyrstaline Peterson, and staff Tara Martin and Sharmaine Corbett. Together, we facilitated a series of workshops with students to identify issues concerning road safety in NT. We had an incredible time and upon returning to Melbourne gave our edited documentation to legendary singer/songwriter Kutcha Edwards. Kutcha composed the soundtrack to the video with accompanying lyrics written by the students.
